The article in the Sunday Telegraph is wrong. My comments have been partially reported and taken out of context. What was not reported was my final and the Party’s view that Iemma Government plan could not be supported because of uncertainty coming from emissions trading, unfavourable market conditions and Labor’s absolute inability to manage the State’s finances – and the fact that they cannot be trusted. Labor will predictably try to play this up, but the fact is the Coalition and the Liberal Parliamentary Party are fully united in our opposition to the Iemma Government’s power sell-off. The difference between the Coalition and the Labor Party is we are united and they are divided. That unity is to the full credit of Barry O’Farrell, who I will be working hard with to make Premier in 2011.
