“Kristina Keneally and Eric Roozendaal gave an employment guarantee after the NSW Lotteries sell-off, but less than three months later it’s been revealed workers are already losing their jobs” Mr Baird said. “Kristina Keneally must intervene and ensure the employment guarantee is honoured,” he said. “The lottery sale has been mismanaged from day one and now it’s the workers that are feeling the brunt of Labor’s mismanagement. “Eric Roozendaal needs to explain how the workers will be protected and if the plan all along was to place workers on the unattached list. "His incompetence, failures and preference for spin over substance have been on display throughout the NSW Lotteries sale process. “Whether it was his failure to invest the asset sale proceeds into infrastructure, the legal mess he created when selling unclaimed prize money without competition or his cover up of serious complaints about the Lotteries transaction, it is clear Eric Roozendaal is out of his depth. “Unfortunately it is the people of NSW that are being hurt because we have a Treasurer out of his depth. “The only way to get rid of this incompetent Keneally Labor Government is to elect a NSW Liberals & Nationals Government,” Mr Baird said.
