NSW Treasurer Mike Baird today further strengthened the NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp) Board with the appointment of two new directors. Mr Baird said Kerry Schott and Peter Warne would join the TCorp Board in January 2012, following the retirement of Cristina Cifuentes and Bruce Hogan. “We are delighted to have Ms Schott and Mr Warne join the Board,” Mr Baird said. “Both are outstanding professionals with a wealth of experience across the private and public sectors. They are joining a strong team and will play an important role in shaping the strategic direction of TCorp.” “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Cifuentes and Mr Hogan who have both been long-serving members of the TCorp Board. They have made a significant contribution to TCorp over many years and I wish them the all the best.” Ms Schott is currently Commissioner of the NSW Government’s Expenditure and Management Audit. Most recently she was CEO of Sydney Water and prior to that she was an Executive Director in NSW Treasury. Ms Schott’s career spans investment banking, public sector and academic roles, with a particular focus on infrastructure delivery, restructuring and financing. Mr Warne has held numerous non-executive roles over the past decade. His current directorships include ASX, Macquarie Group and AOFM Advisory Board. Prior to this, Mr Warne had an extensive career as a senior executive at Bankers Trust in Australia. MEDIA: Rachael Storey – 0467 741 310 Write Comment
