Science Expo win - Manly Selective Campus students and Mike won top prize in a science competition held at Parliament House, competing against students and their MPs from across NSW.

Celebrity Surf Challenge - Mike competes in Layne Beachley's Aim for the Stars Foundation surf challenge in Manly. 

Senior Drivers Forum -  More than 300 senior citizens from the Manly area spoke out against the RTA's proposed licensing laws at a forum Mike hosted at the Manly Seniors Centre.

Ferry Forum. More than 200 commuters attended the public forum that Mike hosted at Freshwater Senior Campus with Commissioner Bret Walker SC who conducted the Ferry Inquiry. 

Budget Day of Action. Residents joined Peninsula MPs and Leader of the Opposition Barry O'Farrell to walk/run/cycle up Spit hill to highlight State Government inaction towards ongoing traffic congestion. 

Manly After Midnight Forum. Mike facilitated a forum with members of the community, police, Council, and the Liquor Accord to work out solutions to address anti-social behaviour in Manly.
